Everyone can be artist,mixed media

Every time when I go to Warsaw I visit my favorite gallery Zacheta. Zacheta was founded in the mid 19th century in the aim of the promotion of the fine arts. Currently its primary task is the presentation and promotion of contemporary art. Last year there was Tadeusz Kantor with Interior of Imagination - exhibition based on the sense that what matters in Kantor's art are not the works themselves but they ideas they convey. In Kantor's art theatre intermingles with painting. In the late 1960s Kantor started a new series of Infantas after Velazquez with heads painted realistically and with the postman's satchel attached collage-like in place of "celebration canopies of court crinolines."

Painting "Everyone can be artist" is created in Kantor's spirit including three copies of his Infanta after Velaquez, drawing based on his painting Cathedral in the rain and his idea for process of creation: "Eliminate the process of representation create a picture that in itself would be a living organism..., unite it with spontaneity of action, impulsiveness of decision, and constant intervention... accept chance and risk...that act of painting becomes a manifestation of life." .
