38. Opposition (Fire over Lake)

The hexagram "Opposition" expresses a flame rising and water descending,

so the fire and the lake have no foundation for achieving the harmony.

They are moving away from each other and never mingle.

In human terms, this means that we are in conflict with friends or family.

We should reflect on our attitudes.

Could our failure to get along with the people be due to a misunderstanding or our resistance to change?
